Its competition day for the Chi team. This is the distance part of the competition and we are putting the sling back on after the first throw it flew off. Other then that we pretty good in the distance competition we got over 25ft. but the accuarcy wasn’t too good. Btw our trebuchet name was Jingles because it made jingling sound after every throw due to the counterweights.

The Chi team is done with the drawings and now its time for us to do the real talk. Now we are measuring the sizes of the wood and plan how we are going to build it. We learned that the hardest part wasn’t the drawing but its the building and measuring. And as you see on the picture below, we are figuring out how to even out the two sides so it would stay stable.

Working on the trebuchet on the program called Inventor
The Chi team is working on there trebuchet in a program called Inventor. This is were u get to see a three-demintional picture of your trebuchet. Its really good if you need to see what your going to build before you build it. Its not the easy but it is fun to do. After finishing this its of to building the trebuchet.

The chi team is working on drawing the trebuchet. This is to get an idea of what we need to do. Drawing really isn’t the chi teams favorite thing to do, but we will do it. After this it is off to fixing the trebuchet.

The Chi team is getting done with the research for the trebuchet. We learned the difference between a trebuchet and a catapult. The research was the easy part now it is time for the hard part. The drawings. We have to draw to even get started on the trebuchet, but we will get it done.
